Epoxy flake flooring, sometimes referred to as an epoxy chip floor<\/a>, is an epoxy flooring<\/a> system that includes the typical floor preparation. How is epoxy flake flooring applied? We then apply an epoxy primer, followed by an epoxy slurry. Thereafter, the flakes are broadcast to excess, being careful to cover every square inch of the floor. What happens after the flakes cure? After curing, we remove the excess flakes and seal using a 100% solids epoxy resin. How do you finish epoxy flake flooring to retain sheen and scratch resistance? Finally, we topcoat using an aliphatic urethane to retain sheen and enhance scratch resistance.<\/p>
